Colin is my first commercial font. It is a geometric typeface, which means that its design is based on simple shapes. Circles, rectangles, triangles, all of them come from the lowercase “n”. It was my goal to design a font where the “n” and “c” look identical, just rotated by 90 degrees.
I wanted Colin to appear cheerful, but also serious and following strict rules. It has the largest glyph count among my typefaces which makes it usable for over 70 languages. I hope it alright, if I say that I’m a little bit proud of it.
Oh, and it comes with seven individual styles: Thin, Extralight, Light, Regular, Medium, Semibold and Bold. Extralight is available for free if you want to run it for a test drive.
