Occasionally, I design fonts for projects of mine. The following three are free to use for personal and commercial projects, as long as you credit me as the designer of the font. The last one (Colin) is a commercial font, but has a free style available if you want to try it out. All my fonts can be used for free in an academic context. Just send me an e-mail.

Cardenio Modern – A classic among my fonts. Since 2013 it was downloaded over 300 000 times. It was used by a large number of designers and companies, ranging from Fiat and IKEA to the Kennerspiel des Jahres 2019, Wingspan. (free)

Canted Comic – A simple font for comics, inspired by the classic US comic books from the 1960s. (free)

Canted FX – The big sister of Canted Comic: a layered font designed especially for sound effects and action. Use it with no limit to your creativity. (free)

Colin – The only commercial one of my fonts is also the most personal. Its idea is that lowercase “n” and “c” must look identical, just rotated by 90 degrees. Everything else is built from there. (1 style free)
